This course is about Raga Sangeet especially Evening Raga. By learning this course, students would understand different Raga, 
its basic information, some Alankar and few Bandish. There are demonstrations of each Raga in Vocal as well Instrumental rendering. Various Gurus have demonstrated different Bandish and other compositions. Students would benefit not only from the video lectures but also through the reading material provided with each module. The course is of 12 weeks containing 42 modules with 4 credits.

• Prof. Sathe is working as Director at BVDU School of Performing Arts, Pune.
• Chairman of Board of Studies in Performing Arts and has been instrumental in developing syllabus for
  Music and Dance courses of Graduation, Post Graduation and Ph.D.
• Has been associated with many socio cultural organizations for more than 20 years. He was instrumental
  to start SPIC-MACAY (Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music & Culture Amongst Youth) in
  Maharashtra & Goa. He was State Coordinator for Maharashtra and Goa for more than 15 years. He has
  organized more than 1,000 programs in these states and has coordinated with many artistes like Pt.
  Bhimsen Joshi, Pt. Shivkumar Sharma, Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Ustd. Bismillakhan, Pt. Birju Maharaj,
  Dagar Brothers, Pt. Rajan & Pt. Sajan Mishra, Dr. Prabha Atre and many more.
• Under his guidance many students of school of Performing Arts are performing all over India. Few have
  performed in National / International music concerts. In last 6 years more than 30 students have received
  HRD Ministry Scholarship.
