The proposed course titled on “International Business” covers the vital aspects and current trends in relation to international business. This course is relevant to the students who are studying business (Commerce and Management) subject and which will be helpful to foresee the opportunities available in business. Students equipped with knowledge of International Business will be in a position to recognize the dynamics of business in the international scene. Corporate now a days are seeking for multi talented job aspirants with a global outlook. Today, the world has changed and the International Business Environment profoundly influences the firms, Governments and individuals. 
‘International Business’ encompasses all those business activities that involve cross-border transactions of goods, services and resources between two or more nations. The transactions of economic resources include capital, skills, people, etc., for the international production of physical goods and services such as finance, banking, insurance and construction. This course is a comprehensive outlook which includes latest development on the frontiers of knowledge providing the insights of International Business and its dimensions. The objective of the course is to expose the students to the concept, versatility and dynamics of International Business. 

It aims at familiarizing the students with business environment at the International level including Institutions and agreements. Moreover this course also provides a platform to build the entrepreneurial skills that a future budding entrepreneur may wish to know about the business prospects. Hence, the proposed course will definitely be significant to the students.  

This course especially is designed with a pragmatic emphasis and an inclination towards the managerial aspect, thus encouraging students of different disciplines to explore International business as a career choice.

Dr.Ashwini.S an Associate Professor working in PG Department of Commerce. Total number of teaching experience at Post Graduate level is 12yrs which includes Industry Experience of 1 year .Passed M Com in 2005; NET in 2010 along with PGDHRM and is in teaching Profession since 2006. She Completed Ph.D in 2017. Have Organised and chaired Conferences at national level. Has also presented an published several research papers in conferences / seminars. Authored a book in Commerce related to Banking and Insurance. 

Course certificate

Assessment/Assignment marks will be considered for Internal Marks and will carry 30 percent for overall Result.

End Term Exam- will have 100 questions and will carry 70 percent of  overall Result.

*All students, who obtain 40% marks in in-course assessment and 40% marks in end-term proctored exam separately, will be eligible for certificate and credit transfer.
