The widespread adoption of Learning Management System (LMS) in education environment has been creating lot of opportunities for educationalists. It provides structured delivery and management of instructional resources, organized way of assessment to check the achievement of learning goals, tracking the progress of the learner, and providing the necessary information to the management about the teaching-learning process. The LMS can be implemented through different software framework. Among the different frameworks, Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment (MOODLE) is a Web-based platform for Teaching - Learning / Training programs. MOODLE allows teachers to organize and store course content in a secure web-based environment in-which their students can access from anywhere at any time. It is a popular and secure learning management system for the development and delivery of course activities and resources. Teachers can post, collect, and grade assignments, administer quizzes, host online discussions, share resources, and more. This course delivers the complete demonstration of MOODLE LMS application.

Dr. G.Janardhanan, M.E.,Ph.D (USA)., Associate Professor and Head i.c Centre for International Affairs
He has been working in the domain of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Sustainable development in infrastructure, Technology enabled instruction, experiential and activity-based instruction.  He has coordinated more than 150 training programmes for National participants and 18 International programme in the area of Sustainable Development, Green building concepts, Water Quality Analysis, Geo-environmental Engineering, Blended and Flipped Classroom, Technology Enabled Teaching Learning, Student Evaluation and Instructional Design and Delivery. He has transformed through training more than 260 international participants and 2500 plus national participants. He has developed virtual laboratory for environmental engineering laboratory and handled several national and international projects in the area of engineering, technology and Engineering Education. He has been recognized as an expert by UNESCO Bangkok on MOOCs in Higher Education.


 
Dr. K.S.A. Dinesh Kumar, M.E.,Ph.D.,Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He has been working in the domain of Structural Engineering, Geographical Information System, Sustainable development, Smart City, Instructional technologies and Teaching – Learning Practices and Principles. He holds the additional charge as an estate officer and executes the principle and design of sustainability in the institute infrastructure development. He has coordinated more than 100 training programmes on Sustainable Development, Green building and Engineering Education. He has developed various projects for Engineering Education includes e-content development and Virtual Laboratory.

If You wish to Get certified on this course you must register and write the proctored exam conducted by SWAYAM in person at any of the designated exam centers.
  • The Registration fee for the proctored exam is Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only).
  • Date and Time of Exams: December 2020 / January 2021 (tentative)
  • Announcements will be made when the exam registration form is open for registrations along with the url
  • The online registration form has to be filled and the certification exam fee needs to be paid. More details will be made available when the exam registration form is published. If there are any changes, it will be mentioned then.
  • Please check the form for more details on the cities where the exams will be held, the conditions you agree to when you fill the form etc.

CRITERIA TO GET A CERTIFICATE:
  • Internal assignment score = 30%, The average of best 3 assignments out of the total assignments given in the course.
  • Exam score = 70% of the proctored exam score out of 100
  • Final score = Average assignment score + Exam score
  • You will be eligible for a certificate only if average assignment score >=10/30 and exam score >= 30/70
  • Certificate will have your name, photograph, roll number and the percentage of score in the final exam. It will have the logos of MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development), SWAYAM and NITTTR. 
  • Only the e-certificate will be made available. Hard copies will not be dispatched.
